Vin question
« on: April 26, 2006 - 02:50:04 PM »
I thought T/A's had a JS vin but there is a car advertised as a T/A with a JH number. Is this correct?

The VIN for a T/A should star off with: JH23JOB###### JS cars are R/T's.

always seemed odd to me that the AAR was made from the 'CUDA(BS23JOB) while the T/A was made from the regular Challenger(JH23) and not from the RT (JS23)....

never quite understood that  :clueless:

Makes a little sense because Cudas came with 340s, while R/Ts were only 383 and up in 1970. What doesnt make sense is that the 340 wasn't an R/T in 70, but it was in 71.
