Oldschool fire's that mother up!
« on: April 29, 2006 - 09:26:28 PM »
Oldschool decided to bring the Beast out for a little intimida.... :worshippy er , I mean show and tell at the local Powder Springs car show. Had the opportunity to see the new body work in person and it is indeed SWEET!  I also got him to fire up that supersized HEMI and captured the moment on video.  So I've got a clip with audio for all of you who want to hear her run.

:clueless: Problem is, I don't know how to get it posted so that everyone can check it out. If anyone can help me post the video, I'd appreciate it. I've got a 27meg MPG file or a 2.5meg MP4 file of the same clip. Send me a PM and I'll email the clips.

To wet the apetite, here's a picture from the show.

I'm dying to see this :) For starters, you can go to www.YouTube.com, and they allow you to get a free account and post large files, for example, we can all freely download music videos and a host of things there.  However, we will not be able to save it to disc, but at least we can all enjoy it!

I know for a fact that free online storage exists where we can download large zip files, and just did a search for them, but don't recognize them and they all charge.  Does anyone know a free one?

PS: I'm new and learning, but...

I was at K&N lately, trying to figure out the best air filter set up for my 440, and they have formulas to calculate what's the minimum size air filter needed.  Are those big enough?

I found a free, file-hosting web-site. I've never used this kind of service before, so I'm unsure of the results.  Hopefully you'll get to see and hear the Beast and not some porn.

The clip is in MP4 format.  Should play just fine in the Windows media player or quicktime, but if anyone can't play it, let me know and I'll try to upload the original Mpeg file of the same clip.  It's big and I had trouble trying to upload it originally.

Enjoy!  :ylsuper:

I don't know if it works for others, but my Window's Media Player doesn't recognize it.  Any chance for the mpeg?  Thanks.

:wow:  I still got hair standing up on the back of my neck!  Now if ya can convince him to let you video him pulling the front wheels up just a wee bit, I know we all would be tremendously grateful!  :worshippy

I get the pop up that says media player doesn't recognize the file extension, but it still plays it.  I think I have media player 9 or 10.  you might need to go to microsofts site and get the update.  :dunno:
