Prom Pics...
« on: April 29, 2006 - 11:21:39 PM »
Today was filled with hair and nail appointments, photo parties and of course the Prom.  Here's some pics of Pixie when she's not all filthy working on the duster.  They had a great time...the two stretch hummers were a sight!

For you other folks that went to prom, post your pics here so we can all see.  :picture:

Thanks for all your kind words everyone!  They had a real nice time.  30 or so kids all went out together to a restaurant in downtown Atlanta then to the prom at an art gallery in the city.  I've never seen the inside of a stretch hummer and probably will never see one again, so here's a pic for those of you like me.

Dang, stretch Hummers and all by you...Most people I knew just drove their lifted up trucks and my friend took his '69 Camaro...What I'd give to have lived in a city.. :faint:

They were actually supposed to go in "The Party Bus" which is like a coach bus that's been refurbished like the inside of a limo.  Unfortunately the bus broke down and the company sent over the two stretch hummers instead.  The kids were very excited about having them.

Real nice pics, and it's obvious that Heather knows how to have fun, but " NEWSFLASH" ..............Hey Pixie, your way out of that dudes league.....................where's Redline anyway ?   :villagers:  :roflsmiley:

lol!  We were both there. Fortunately, Pixie and her date have been friends since middle school.  They're not dating, so no need to worry.  "Just friends".

I did not have a prom either, my parents were pretty religious and thought kids in public school would be a bad influence on me, so I was in a correspondence program for high school, it actually gave me more time to find trouble.   ???

I was able to attend a GFs prom a year later, our chariot for the evening was a green and white 1971 Chevrolet pick up truck.  :22yikes: The next car I bought after that was a '68 Barracuda fast back with a 440-6 though.

Good times!
