Hi and Welcome to Cuda-Challenger.Com RDF I hate to Burst your Bubble


I'm not worried if the motor matches the original one that came with the car, I simply don't have that type of money to invest to get it back to 'original' form.  From the cuda's I've seen for sale so far on the internet, they're pricey.  I've read a couple of posts on this forum that the 440 is a good motor to build and one of the cheapest ones at that.  I'm not looking to race the car by any means, just want a sunday driver and maybe take to a couple of local shows to have fun when my kids get older.  But I'm a muscle car NUT, so I want this car to look bad, really raw, nasty, and mean looking .  Check out this car that I found for sale:

But if you are looking to built something like this for a Sunday ride where are you getting you Gas from But that good you are looking for a Cuda, But with out the Big  Motor I hope  Good Luck in your search

Well I understand the car will not be the best fuel economy, but, I work 6 miles from my house and if I can drive it to work once or twice a week and maybe to a car show onec a month, I'll be fine.  I'm not concerned with gas milage, I drove a '04 Z06 that had some tricks to it where it pushed 475hp.  I could literally watch the gas gauge go down while I was on the highway, BUT, it made for some GREAT 1/4 mile runs and hugged the corners at 110mph like a dream!

Thanks to all for the kind advice.  I'm currently in search of a 440 block if anyone knows where I can get one cheap (like under $200 bucks) I'd appreciate it.  Is there a place on here where members sell parts/items?  BTW, the block/engine doesn't have to run, or have parts.  I'll take the bare block for that price.  I'll be building from scratch so if it comes assembled that's fine, I'll just tear it down and rebuild anyhow.
