I was close to buying your car... but it wouldn't have mattered anyway.  I would have kept it.

I would have rather seen you get the money.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

That sucks he ended up flipping the car, but there are people out there who will gladly take advantage of others. :villagers:  I guess the bottom line here is at least you got a fair price and are happy with what he paid you...It just sucks knowing the car sold for more.

:iagree: with this question, that factor can make a world of difference, especially when your talking about $25K difference. But being the ole sentimental guy that I am I just woefully shake my head at the thought of purchasing a classic Mopar just for the money you can make from them. They will forever always be so much more than a commodity to me. I buy to keep and enjoy (even love), each humble Mopar I have is "Not for sale", "You can't tempt me, so please don't waste our time."

Just an example of the american economic system at work. c1run1 got what he wanted for the car, and the seller used his ability of marketing and salesmanship to sell at a profit. He might have put some $$ into the car as well as time also. A lot of people have a problem with "flippers" but as far as I'm concerned, thats just  capatilism at work.

Don't feel to bad I have had this happen to me more than once. I'm glad you got what you wanted out of your car when you sold it. People do this kind of thing all the time.

Getting what you want is one thing, be losing out on $25,000 to me is a different story.

It's amazing how many people want to buy my car.  I know they would just clone it to a 71 Hemi cuda convert. and make a killing on it.  I would have to kick my own ass if I sold it to make money.  I have more blood, sweat and tears in that car than anyone could ever have.  My kid's, kid's kids will enjoy this car!
