the B body Hurst is a bolt in But the levers in the shifter unit are slightly different length so some minor tweaking of the rods may be nessisary to clear the tranny crossmember
I used a truck Hurst unit on a 4 spd converion last weekend , it worked great , just needed to make a bit of clearance for the 1-2 shift rod to get into 2nd gear
so basically Yes the B body Hurst superr comp + shifter works , with the e body rod & tranny levers with the double holes , us the holes closest to the pivot of the lever to shorten the shift throw , once you do you will never go back to the long throw
