The subject pretty much says it all.  I need some good ideas for 15" wheels.  I have 14" Magnums, and wouldn't mind getting them in 15", but wanted to double check that I'm not forgetting any candidates.

Any pics, or suggestions!!

Thanks,

K

I see what looks like American Racing Vintage series wheels on a few pics here and elsewhere, those look pretty cool in my opinion. I wonder what sizes, offsets, tire sizes etc people are running.

This is what the tire combo thread will be good for if members add there combos........ ::)

Rallye wheels IMO with the proper beefy tires and the right stance, stock looking and mean.

I dig custom wheels. I like the boyds on the pink Challenger, the Fikse on Delaney's 5.7L Challenger, and the American Racing ones on the Aloha automotive Challenger.

The best part about custom wheels is they are usually wider and have that deep inset look to them.

Interesting question.

As for toughest, I'd have to say Steelies W/Dog Dishes, on the right car.

On the majority of restorations, Ralleyes fur sure.

On my 70's resto recreation, Cragar S/S.

I have some weld Pro stars for my ProStreet Duster project, the first set I bought one of the boxes was slightly squished on the corner and sure enough the rim had a nice big flat spot, so I returned it for a replacement. Then when I was having my tires mounted on some 15x 3.5's the guy slipped with a tool and dinged them real good, needless to say I was  :pullinghair: :swear: :stomp:
There VERY light and great for drag racing, but I don't know about using them on an everyday driver with as many pot holes as the roads have today.
The Summit catalog posts a warning saying **Not for use in road, sports, solo or autocross racing**

Evil, Are those centerlines in your picture? Those also say "not for street use" on them under the cap. I ran those for years and always worried about them.

NZ, did you know that your center caps are year correct for the '71?

Blackcuda,
That is tastefully done.  :clapping:  :ylsuper: I just hate seeing the 20-22 inch wheels crammed under an E-body.

Those are nice and will fit the rear if you get the 15x8.5 with the 5" backspacing.  Use a 275x60x15 for the back.
For the fronts you need a 15x7 with a 4" backspacing but they don't offer on in your link.   If you use a 7" with a 3-3/8 backspacing IT WILL RUB the front fenders.  They jump right to a 15x7.5 with a 5" backspace.  Not good...

Not to hijack the thread but, shelby do you think I'll have any issue with these 15x7 wheels?

They're a -6mm offset with a 3 3/4 backspace on them? 215/60/15s up front and 255/70/15s out back.
