    I live in El Paso TX and I personally know Allen Scott, who ownes Ultimate Rides. He was commissioned by the producers of the show to built all of the cudas featured.

    Theres a shop here in henderson, nevada that claims they built the cars as well. Unique auto i think..? something along those lines...they do have a few pics of their old shop with the cars out front in california i believe.. :clueless:

    Hahaha this prop plate is way tooo cool..... they misspell CALIFORNIA!!!

    Makes you wonder if the place that did the props was actually out of state!  :rofl:

    A guy Jeff Bobst , I think that is last name, from Iowa did the initial build of 3 of the cars,including mine. He was hired by Ultimata Rides but has NO affiliation with. I spoke with Jeff about that experience and my car, before I bought it and he was very knowledgable and helpful .Now if I can only talk him out of someof the memorabilia he has.

    Hey 70challrtse - I saw a hemi orange 70 Cuda valet parked at the Adolphus hotel in downtown DFW some months back. It was during lunch hour and all the suits were gawking at it parked among the Lexus and Mercedes. It was VERY slick, with Foose custom wheels and had the HotRod Power Tour sticker on the windshield. It was TX licensed as "70 NEMO". Do you know whose car that was?

    No, sorry Mike I'm not familar with that car. Sounds cool though.There are a lot of local owners who do not get involved with the local Mopar community or bring their cars to the local Mopar shows.

    Nice Cuda boy would I like to own a Nash Bridges show Cuda know matter what shape it was in. I'll have to try and find it at Indy as I'm going to make the trip there.

    I just finished going through a box of stuff that came with the car and I found a window sticker, probably a reproduction, that belongs to a 71 Hemi Cuda convertible. If you know who this belongs to let me know and I will get it to them. Maybe it is a fake-not really belonging to any car.

    Here is a link on the web that claims this is the real story behind the Cuda's for the Nash Bridges show.  http://www.lowtek.com/nash/cudas  I'm not sure how true or untrue it  is   :dunno: but I think it is interesting reading none the less. 

    What I do know is true is that this Ed Briggs guy was (maybe still is a big Cuda collector) at the time.  The guy I bought my Cuda from bought the car from Ed.  He showed me pictures of my car when he bought it from Ed as well as he had some pictures of the other cars Ed had at his house at the time.  Let me know what you guys think about this.  Also if any one knows Ed Briggs or knows how to get a hold of him let me know I want to see if he has any info on my Cuda.  (By the way Ed's email address in the article doesn't work, I already tried it.)

    Hey, 70challrtse,  I just read the article again that I posted above, do you think the 340/4 speed car they are talking about is yours?  Also I think the article ties together all the things that people have posted about on this tread together.  Very interesting.

    Yes. It is my understanding that I own the lone real Cuda of the group. Supposedly only 83 340 4 speed Cuda verts made in 70. vin #BS27HOB16xxxx
