Just wondering, found a nice AAR Cuda I would like to get, just wondering if anyone knew of any lenders that loaned money on a Cuda or the ability to lease one?

Hagerty classic car insurance. It's hard to go thru a bank as they have a hard time realizing the value of a classic muscle-car.  :grinyes:

   :iagree:

That's who I went thru too. You can pick the length of your loan too. Up to 10 years if you are buying a high dollar car.

what do they consider, "high dollar?"

wondering if its worth the extra $$$ to pay more for a true car, or just spend less and get a "recreation" ???

When I said high-dollar, I meant 50-100K range. It really depends on your intentions as to what car to buy. The true car is always going to be worth more, but you will probably drive it far less out of fear of something happening to it. The clones and recreations are cars you can have more driving fun with. That's why so many have appeared over the years.

Some credit unions will give you a loan for it as well. When i bought my cuda 8 years ago for $6000 Navy Fed loaned me the cash. Not sure what they would do for a high dollar car?

NAvy Federal will Loan in excess of $50 K on an old car.

Talk to your bank. Find out what they use to value old cars.  mY other bank used the CPI [ cars of particular interest] Guide.
NFCU used the NADA collectable car guide [ can find on www.nada.com]  for both my cuda and charger.

If they can justify the value of the car compared to what you are asking to borrow and you have decent credit, and a good debt to income ratio, you will be able to get the loan.  Try a credit union if you have one nearby, their loan rate % is usually less than a bank.
