Hi, would your book also have a firm figure on a 1971 383 Magnum 4 speed conv? Some say 41 exported, some say 41 for USA. Any idea of the total number produced?
Thanks

My Govier book shows 41 1971 383 4-sp convertibles produced for the US. Doesn't show anything about any exports.

Since we are on the subject, do you know how many 340 4 speed Rallyes were made in 1973. Thanks.

My Govier book shows 1676 4-speed cars built, but they are all listed as " JH " cars. You'd think that the Rallye cars would have the " JS " designation. I do have an old book, though. Maybe the newer ones have a better breakdown. Hope this helps.

If we are talking '73 cars:

All '73 and '74 cars are "JH" cars and were available with the Rallye option, I think code A57?

The only "JS" Rallye cars were made for the '72 model year.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
