Wiper Cam Release
« on: May 15, 2006 - 08:38:54 AM »
I replaced the wiper cam release assembly yesterday on my 73. When I removed the old parts there was no spring washer. Anybody know where it goes in the assembly and in what orientation?

On a side note, I ordered the package from Year One, even though it said it was for 74 MY only, because the pic looked just like mine. Sure enough, it's exactly the same, except that there's an extra, second outer nylon piece of a different design. Anyone know the story here? Mid-year part change, maybe?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Bullitt. Those were a little too fuzzy for me to see, but it looks like they came out of the factory service manual? If so, I need to find mine...and hopefully my broadcast sheet and title will be with it <g>. Moving can really suck.

I did, but no luck. I know where my manual is (i.e., what box it's in) and it's just a matter of getting to it. Like I said, I need an excuse to look for title annd broadcast sheet anyway. Thanks again.
