Here's a few more recent pics... fuel tank is going in, and still working on small details on the undercarriage...my new glass should be here in two weeks.. I was excited to get the tires on! Next the engine will be painted and ready for installation.... I am undercoating when everything is installed...yep, right over the fuel and brake lines...i know, i know...sloppy but correct... ( I wont make it too sloppy though!) haha...

Hey there! Sorry for the delay...with the holidays I am super busy being a jeweler... anyway, I am in the middle of putting the dash back together..I finally got the blue down for the dash frame, and I'm very happy with the color. I will post some pics this weekend. And I will try to get some pics of the rotissorie that someone had requested.. I should be at the shop next week.
Thanks again!

well, here's what i'm up to this week...just shot the dash frame after multiple attempts of ordering and shooting test colors to get it right...(the flash makes all of this look too bright in these pics) but the paint is a nice deep metallic and almost has a hint of green in it..(this is the color I found inside and under the old pad) We added no reducer, but a medium gloss vinyl mix to the paint, and got the low gloss finish I was looking  for... There is just not reference on bright blue interior anywhere in the internet, so I looked at my other cars which are all untouched, and tried to match the finish they had...I also spoke with Roger Gibson about the color, and he agreed it should be darker then the pad, and not bright blue like the exterior of the car...I'm waiting for my guages to come back from a place called Instrument Specialties, which I found on Ebay...he is re-doing the speedo, both mechanically and cosmetically . I should have them by next week...???!!!!

(and no the whole ashtray is not blue, it still has tape on it)  :naughty:

yep, it seems like its taking forever!!  :icon16:
once this dash is in the car, all of the new glass will be installed, and the steering column, and engine will follow.
