Gas prices made me do it.
« on: May 17, 2006 - 01:07:39 PM »
Well I finally had to go and trade in my Volvo XC-90 AWD Turbo for something that gets a little bit better mileage. I traded the 16-17 MPG for a smaller Volvo S60 for 21-28 MPG.  Both fine cars but the gas was eating me alive added to that I work out of my house and the vehicle is used by my wife to get me daughter back and forth to school. Can't imagine what I would have been paying if I had to drive to a job everyday payment was also greatly reduced.

Has anybody else felt the sting of the gas prices and had to make a change?  Now that the price is up I know it will never go back to the way it was.

Sounds like you still ended up with a great car.  As for me, I am doing my part to cut back by shifting the Beast at 6000 rpm instead of 7000 rpm.    :burnout:    :roflsmiley:      :cooldancing:
