Just wondering, do you enjoy working on cars? Would you be able to work on a Viper? Maintaining may be more expensive than a 70's e-body
Since vipers share most of the same maintenance pieces that the Ram does it turns out that they are equally cheap to maintain. In fact my V10 Ram is exactly $94 more expensive than the viper right now because of a throttle body sensor going bad. Brakes, brake pads, oil, all filters, rotors, wires - all pennies compared to the maintenance costs of a Vette or Porsche.
Cody can attest to the fact that I have completely disassembled my viper down to the frame, including interior. With the exception of expected tools (like the steering wheel puller) I have done all the work myself, alone in my garage, with a 50pc craftsman tool set. For reference my BMW required two specialized tools just to removed the head.
