Where to mount Autometer gauge panel?

I bought one of these Autometer 3 gauge panels with temp, oil pressure and voltage gauges and was wondering where the best place was to mount it.  Under the radio seems like it might be blocked out/too close.  If I move it to the right the heater controls are in the way.  Anybody mounted these before?

I have the same problem!  Although I only have a single oil pressure guage that I am mounting (hopefully tonight).  My idea so far is to mount it right above my right knee, on the bottom of the dash.  I haven't checked into it a whole lot yet, but I beleive there should be enought room there for it.

I'm going with a pod on top of the front edge of the center console.  Kinda like the 8 track player/recorder option.

i know its not a panel but i used to have my cups down below the dash

I wouldn't say carried away. I think they look much nicer than the stock gauges.

I never thought about mounting them individually.  They look good like that.
