Hey guys, thank you so much for your heart warming welcome. You are even better than what I was told you would be like. I appreciate all your comments and indeed you have lightened my heart.
Yes I am from Lebanon, Middle East (where, unfortunately, all the action is these days
).
The car, as I had previously mentioned has undergone quite a few transformations, including "Recaro" seats and steering wheel. The previous owner has painted - literally - everything inside in red, a horrible sight to look at. The seats look good but the rest of the inside does not.
Yes the bumper, hood and so many things, I have no clue what they are supposed to look like, and that is why I need information fom you experts.
One source confirmed that only 41 were known to have been shipped, but how many were actually produced? Any idea? Vin is definately 71.
As I also mentioned in my previous post, I have completed the change over to its original 4speed gear, but recently discovered that the engine was also swapped with a 400? The owner before the previous one, whom I hunted down and was able to locate, confirmed that he has the original 383 Magnum. He promised to gather all its parts and pass it on to me. How can I confirm that? What should I look for?
Ok, as suggested by "Rev it up", I will post more questions in the tech section, and hope to meet you all there.
By the way, you all have awsome, mouth dripping, gorgeous cars.
Glad to make your aquaintance. Some more photos (one is of me next to another muscle I found and bought yesterday, 71 Trans Am 455HO).
