I know you can make Smallblock 727 with a 5.7L Hemi(just a new flexiplate) but does it as well with a Bigblock 727? If not what are the differnes and what work is needed?

I'm not sure but the new hemis are designed for small block tranny mounting patterns.  The big block is much different.  It would probably be easier and cheaper to find a small block 727.  Aren't they using the newer 518 transmission now?
