AAR Question
« on: May 25, 2006 - 01:47:03 PM »
Hello again,
I know that the AAR has a glass hood but do they have glass fenders? If not, does any 70-74 cudas have glass fenders? I ask because my husband and I know a farmer that is a huge mopar fan. He has a 68 Charger, 73 charger and a 72 cuda. The 72 has one glass fender that he claims he got from his cousin who had a 70-74 cuda that was wrecked. The farmer would like to put another steel fender on his car. Thanks.

No E-bodies came from the factory with fiberglass fenders.

   :iagree:

They were put on to be a little lighter for racing. Maybe it was a drag car at one time, or someone used a fiberglass fender in a pinch because the real deal got dented up?  :dunno:

Just to add... if he has a 72, then he would need a fender from a 72-74 Cuda. The 70 and 71 fenders were a bit different, and would cost too much to even think about modifying to your needs.
