Thought you guys would appreciate this one, check out

http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/cuda/

Lots of build photos of a nice 426 Hemi Cuda show car, done here in Oz and put together by a local parts distributor.

A couple of preview pics posted. Its a shame you have to paint ones that look like this...

Scott

PS In about a weeks time I should be taking delivery of one rusty '74 barracuda. Yay  :ylsuper:

That's one mean lookin ride, but I think a little less wheel diameter would be better.

Why?  Then it would look like every other cuda at the mopar nats. I just put 17" Boyds on my 71 cuda and love it. The shocker is that the ride is so much better now. Kind of wished I would have gone with the 18's. I think people are tired of the retro look. I know I am. My rallyes are in storage for good now.

I guess as far as wheels go it's whatever you like but I think it's hard to beat the look of original ralleys or keystone classics... just my two cents..

I like 15"...probaby would like 16-17"

heavan knows I could use a few extra inches....but a gocart or bicyle wheels...

you could get a set of chrome nerf bars too .... I just like a proportional look.

BUt that is MY Personal....feeling only :lol2:

I'm not "too" big of a fan of the "modern" monsters but I like the look, looks clean and smooth.

Great job.

It does look pretty cool

Nice so far but the tail panel belongs on a mustang,,,  looks like a '70 mach 1 or something

The stance is really good but anything looks good on milk cartons

Looks almost exactly like a black Sick Fish. I guess Sick Fish minus the cage and with a smaller motor.

Are they planning to 4-link the rear suspension too?

It looks great though. I'd have taken a lot of the same design liberties (shaved lights and handles and larger wheels, though maybe not quite that large). Maybe 17 & 18 instead of 18 & 20.

I spoke to the builders when they first started the project as it was a 318 car with aircon and at that stage I was going to stay with the small block so thought I might get some parts (especially the factory aircon and dash).  At that stage they were not sure how the project would go so were going to hold on to any parts until later.  Rang them a couple of days ago and they had already sold off any spares to a Mopar dealer in Melbourne (who is who I buy gear off anyway) so missed out on any potential bargains.
