From Mopar Muscle,

they said the new HEMI will be in the full size trucks in 2003. Then in 2004 it will become available in the Chrysler 300 M, Concorde, Intrepid and Dakota.

Any specs or detail listed about the HEMI??
I guess its kinda weird for me to say HEMI and Intrepid in the same sentence without thinking the HEMI would be down graded to a lower than expected HP rating. I am not knocking that idea or anything its just that I always picture the HEMI as the heart of an older muscle car. ::)

The article says it's a 5.7 litre.
The heads will feature two plugs per cylinder using distributorless ignition and a high-fire coil system. Seven inch runners on the intake fed by a 30 % larger throttle body than the 5.9 version. 9.6:1 forged pistons, nodular crankshaft, cross bolted main caps, powder metal rods.

330 HP and 360 lbs.-ft. torque. It will hit 250 at 3500 and pull toward the 325 plus mark all the way to 5500 and is 300 horses at 4500 range. Torque is 325 by 1500 rpm and 360 at 4000 rpm.
