    Why do some people not post all there info on their profile?

    Why do some people not post all their info on their profile? I would like to know if someone is close to me and if I am going to be in their area, so maybe we could hook up. :dunno: I mean we are all family here , right?  :drunk:

    I just started putting my location in my signature. That way you don't need to look at the profile.

    It would be nice if everyone did that.  When someone is looking for parts, I usually look to see how close they are to me for large parts and maybe save on some shipping.   :thumbsup:

    If you go to your profile
    "Forum profile information"
    and under "Personalized Picture" there's a field called "Personal Text' and you can put your location or anything else in there and it shows up beneath your avatar on your posts.

    Location is nice to know when somebody is selling parts or a car and always cool to hook up with other Mopar guys and gals.

    What if : ?  We have a complete membership list, if it would become a "requirement" when joining the forum to include certain information why then could it not be possible to ask / require current members to do the same thing. Then when you click onto any members bio the info is there. Just a couple days ago I was looking at the above list and it just amazed me how many members who have "0" post. Don't get me wrong post count is certainly not a priority, but it seems to me if you haven't posted since joining say a year ago why or how does that person think of themselves as a member. Anyone can 'travel" the board and reap the benefits of tech answers for example without actually joining. At least after you join  say hi, introduce yourself and lets us know why you became a member.

    If I remember correctly, don't you have to be a member to see the pics?   And we all know how we are on the pic situation.  :bigsmile:  Maybe a lot just join so they can see them.  :dunno:
