Need help from my A-body friends...

We're working on taking apart Pixie's dash (74 duster).  We got the gauge cluster out and want to separate the front faceplate and lenses from the actual guages.  How does the "lights" knob come off?  Does it screw off or pull off?  We got the wiper knob off just fine...it pulls off.  Just don't want to strip any threads.

I am not sure if '74 is the same, but just in case......

Here is a switch from a '68, see the button my finger is on? Push that in while pulling out the knob and the knob and shaft should come out.
