Goody is the man! "IDK about you guys, but I'm getting ready for the track tonight!"
I had the Cuda out Friday night, and I'll take her for a cruise on the Pacific Coast Highway tonight...
I gotta say, I love reading Goody's posts. This guy has got the hot-rodder's spirit all right. No hemi or six-pack needed, Goody kicks butt with the 318, and the car looks way sharp! And too bad for you if you don't like round taillights, cause that's all you'll see of Goody's Cuda, AND he daily drives it to work. That is the man right there!
You got it all figured out Goody! My hat's off to ya!
Why thank you. I'm doin what i can with my lil motor in a full weighted b'cuda. I won't be happy until i see about a 13.80, i have the mph to do it, i just need to get my 60' down. so it will likely need a couple things to do that. Traction being one of 'em , and don't you worry, that 318 will pull those numbers lol. I'm ordering a helmet with the shocks because after 13.99 i need one...and i plan on doing a tad better than that
Made a few passes the other night, track just goes to crap after the ricers drag water up to the line
Still stuck at 14.3, full weight, 5100ft d/a, spinning 275 radials...We're goin back out to the track on Wednesday, I'm boltin the slicks on and trying a holley d/p carb. Some superstock springs and adj shocks are comin....then i gotta save up for my Converter. It's 106* outside and i have to go to work in a little bit, nothin like black vinyl and no a/c. I never want to hear it's too hot to drive your mopar.
