I got my cuda running late last fall after sitting for 20 years. I managed to put about a 100 miles on it before winter pushed it back into the garage. Have been a little hesitent about going to far and breaking down, but I just put on new rear leaf springs, shocks, tires, and have a new poly front end kit to install this weekend. Once its a little more road worthy  I plan on driving it a lot this summer. Can't believe I let it sit for so long  :dupe:   :banghead:  but I plan on making up for lost time. Can't believe all the attention these cars attract either when I do take it out--but it sure is fun!!!!!!

You mean..like..drive it? My car? I never do that. well, that's not entirely true. I fire it up to move it and sweep under or get stuff from in front of it. Does that count? HAsnt left the garage for other than those 2 reasons in 2 years. :faint:

I drive it whenever I can afford to! Now that I fixed the wiper motor, the pilot bushing broked on me..so its on stands right now and Im doing several things to it while I have it up there.

Other than that, I drove it nearly daily last year on my 60 mile round trip to work. I had to fill it up with gas every 2-3 days depending on how heavy my foot was.  But alas, with the new gas prices and more bills... its slowly becoming a weekend driver until I move back into town.  :crying:

Goody,

I have that stuff on mine too. The only thing I really think it helps you with, is if you drive on the highway. At slower speeds, the water still builds up on your windshield. I'm not against it, because it's pretty neat at 60 MPH and not useing the wipers.

I left 6-2-06 to drive in the Hot Rod Power Tour. Got back on Sat 6-10-06 and had clocked a total o4 3,966 miles in 8 days.   I'm glad my '70 Challenger's seat is cushy.  My best MPG with fuel injected 440 and overdrive was 20.5!   If anyone is interested, the 2007 Power tour was announced.

Here is what they know so far:
