That cars looks like a great score.  Is it very rusty?  One of those is the next on my project list once I finish up the cuda.  Speaking of 65 B bodies there is a 65 coronet 500 abandoned on the water front not far from me in Brooklyn.  I have thought about saving it but there inst a strait panel on the car.   :crying:
Too many projects and nothing gets done.

The Green one is not too bad.  The Red one(My Dad's is pretty bad.  The floor pans / trunk pan were gone when I got the car and its a bit worse now.  But all in all still owrth saving.

there are a few parts that would make a car like that worth grabbing, usualy the floor/trunk pans are shot, but in the rare case a hood is needed, I need a hood, trunk deck, even the front cowl(firewall) for one.  I can get patch pannels for most of the rest of what I need.

Yes, i love the roof as well.  Photos never do it justice.  I will Fix the red one, debating on the fate of the Green one now.  just hate to see it wasted.

There is a 65 hood on e-bay right now.It may be posted under Belvedere. I have a 65 Satellite big block ruby red floor console auto.It still has the original paint and not a speck of rust! Thats what I'm under in the garage.Next to it is a 67 big block 4 speed. Your absolutely right about the roof lines on the 65's I cant get enough! My wife just let me drag home a 63 belvedere standard which is longing for a big block, but it may have to go to a good home somewhere else because I've got too many projects :working:

I will check out the hood on E-Bay.  Talk about too many projects.  I am there with you.  Two 65 Satellites, I 67 Fury III, 1 73 Challenger, and a 72 Challenger in the making.

I think the Fury will soon have a home (trading for the 72) then we will have to decide keep or sell the 73 (talking about trading for a 69 Charger) leaving me with the extra Satellite to ponder...(i was goignt ot fix both and give each Son one... when they are old enough) but one may have to settle for a challenger, charger, or whatever we have..lol

*** checked out the E-Bay.  Nice hood, good price, but $150 plus $30 plus the freight would kill me.  I need to keep bottom price between $100-150 for this item ... and that might be hard to do.  I really have not priced them much at this point.

When my boys got their licenses I got them beaters to make their mistakes in-and gosh did they!Nice thing about it was they drove less and learned to work on cars at the same time. Older son got ALOT of tickets after we finished the 318 in his 72 Duster, but it was my fault- I got two on our first test drive of that car while blowing the doors off a early 90's Corvette  :dupe: Cop must've been a chevy guy cause he "didn't see a corvette" Still got ya beat on the project total though: 63 Belvedere,65Satellite,67Satellite,67SportFury,68Coronet,70Satellite,70Dart340,74Cuda.I hope to get a picture of them all in a line if I can just find enough drivers!

Yes I have though about them driving something, but still having their car (something will a little control.)

If you do find a 65 I need a very odd part for sure.  I need the bracket under the car that holds the emegency brake cable.  the Cable runns through it.  I damaged on back in 87 loading/unloading this car on a trailer.  at the time I had borrowed a Hay tralier from a neighbor that had a farm. yes I learned a lot from that experiance....
