Had a little fun tonight...
« on: May 30, 2006 - 09:36:59 PM »
It's great working for a camera company.  :picture:

We had a big group of thunder storms roll through tonight, so I grabbed the D2X with the 18-200VR and sat outside the call center waiting for the perfect shot.

Another one from a co-worker who grabbed the D200 and 18-70 lens.

Nice work mate, great timing. Love seeing lightning. Fork lighting is very rare down here, 90% blanket.

Once again from a fellow hobbyist photographer, well done!

Your shot was waaay better.  Nice work, I imagine you used a tripod for the exposure, looks rather long.   :wow:

Great job. I love a good storm!

I like a good storm too.  You'd love it here in Arkansas then.  We get some hairy ones.  Hate tornado season though!  :22yikes:

Those are some awesome shots!

Too cool man  Thanks for sharing those. I know it's VERY tough to capture an image like that.
 I'm addicted to photography myself.
This is the best I was able to do a few years back, right behind my house.
This took me 97 shots to capture. You guys got me beat by miles, but thanks again for sharing  :clapping:

Good call! It was a 15 second exposure, so I definitely needed a tripod.

Nice shot R/Th! It was probably a little easier to get our night shots - we could hold the shutter open for a lot longer.

Here's a few more...

The first one is the anvil of the storm, then another few lightning strikes.
