Here's one for ya, NZ.  To put on top of Lucy's dashboard! :D

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Anytime, NZ!

ERTL was supposed to make a '72 Challenger Rallye 340 last year but it never came out.  I was waiting for a while but I guess not enough interest was there.  I have a '70 2 Fast 2 Furious Challenger 1:18 scale car that I'll eventually convert over to a '72.

You can find 1:24 and 1/32 scale model cars out there on Ebay if your interested.  Surprisingly because the '72-'74 cars weren't as popular as '70-'71 cars, these models will fetch a pretty penny.

ARII (Japanese manufacturer) makes a nice 1:24 scale plastic model.  Doors, hood open, but engine detail isn't as good as the American companies.  If you find an older kit from the seventies it'll come with nice rubber tires and a motor to make the model go.  Here's one I did of my car, with some slight mods:

Cool! Thanks, I'm really after 1/18th though, but if that's all that's out there then that will be fine.

Cheers!!

Hey I remeber that car!!!!!  That is my black 73 on most of these pics.......and by the way, after the burnout pic, I did take those terribly ugly bumper bumpers off, I hated those ugly things. Now I have a question, does anyone know how I can contact the owner of the black 73 with strobe stripes? I swear that looks just like my old car and someone just added the stipes. One thing that keys me off is the black vinyl top trim, mine had generic black trim around the base of the top and that one with the stripes does too. Mine also had black painted door handles, only difference is the bumpers, mine was painted black.  I would love to get in touch with the current owner of that old car, just to shoot the breeze with him. If anyone knows, please let me know.
Miss the black Challenger, but love my Cuda better............ :ylsuper:

Hey Barry, I entered in the name of the file in a Google search and it looks like this car was sold from a dealership called Mopar Ponderosa.  You might be able to call them and find out who it got sold to.

Check out the ad:
