how to reinstall door and quarter glass and regulators

Any hints on reinstalling door and quarter glass with the regulators?  I wrestled with them comming out, and am sure the installation won't be pretty.  I'm tinting the glass before I put it back in then covering with poseter board to prevent scratching.  A few "tricks" would sire be appreciated...  Thanks, and great website!  John

     I'm waiting for the same information as you - "tips/tricks" because they were a pain in the azz to remove.  But I actually have not tried to reinstall my door and quarter glass yet (my restoration is not at that stage).

     I'll offer this, John: if you need factory service manual (FSM) instructions, I'll photocopy them out of my 1971 Chrysler manual and mail them to you.  You could also get a Chilton's or Hayne's manual; they use the FSM drawings.

why tint first whats the gain . curious
