What is this???
« on: June 05, 2006 - 05:21:05 PM »
Found this laying in the car while I was tearing it apart this weekend.  Can anyone tell me what it is?

Hard to tell,  :clueless: could it be some kind of oil pump priming tool or a weird extension tool of some kind? Hard to tell, looks almost like plastic in the photo.

It's metal, about 4 inches long, the shaft is 1/8th" diameter and the chrome knob on the end is 1/4" diameter.  It has a 1/2" long pin in the end of it.  :dunno:

If it wasn't so short I'd guess a screw jack wrench of some kind but they are usually longer than that.  :dunno: :clueless:

Reminds me of a wrench that came with some fancy valve cover nuts. maybe from Specter

Is the pin removable? It looks like it should be part of a yoke type assembly making the whole thing pivot on that point - sort of pendulum like?? :dunno:
