How about a photo of the car with the aftermarket wheels if you don't mind?

The undercarriage looks like it had everything repainted(wrong colors) very recently, I agree with the comment "cleaning up of a used car", but who wouldn't do this to help add a few dollars to a car sale.

I can understand trying to get the car to present its best face, but at the same time a car like this' value lies in its originality and actual condition.

Covering up rust and signs of wear with a quick, innacurate paint job almost seems a bit dishonest in that context.

That's just my humble opinion, of course.

I wondered about it when I looked at the pics.  It looks like the engine compartment was orange then hastily made purple.  Yet Barry's pic of the VIN shows no orange and the wrong mounting screws.  Maybe Barry knows more.  I wonder if there is another color as a first coat of paint?  Pictures can be tricky and the orange can be reflection.

I saw that too. What I thought might have happened was a pressure washing blowing off some of the orange paint from the valve covers. It looked to be the same color.

It could have gone either way.... orange paint flakes on the purple, or chipped purple showing orange.

I think one would have to see it live.

Good catch! they are not reversed but are 1968-69 covers with the push on breather/filler spout.
