That was pretty bad!  Someone should of gave him the words or something.  I saw recently on TV that they were asking the congress men if they knew the words to that.  Alot didn't.  Sad

  Man, why'd his buddies let him go through with that without asking if he knew how to sing the National Anthem and coaching where needed? A little teamwork goes a long way...just ask Red, Rev, and Pixie Duster

Pretty perplexing for sure, not trying to make excuses, but for some people it would be easier to face gunfire in a dark alley than to do any kind of performance in a public ceremoney. Even fear of that kind can render you helpless. Personally as I watched I really felt sorry for the guy.

I think my favorite version was in the movie Naked Gun when Leslie Neilson, as Placido Domingo, sang it.  No respect to our country's national anthem, but it was funny.
