    lotsa MOPARS, lotsa shows, lotsa years......but I've never been to Carlisle.....the previous owner told me the car had been invited to Carlisle several times for special exhibitions.....

    ps.....when is Carlisle

    Carlisle is July 7-9th.  It's really a great show and a bunch of the folks from this site meet up there (stay at the same hotel, eat and hangout all weekend together).  It's really a great time.  If you can make it, it would be a blast to meet you and get a first hand look at your beautiful cars (whichever one you'd like to bring :grinyes: ).

    ...thanx guys for all the kind comments.....I am anxious to get the car back to Indiana and play with it ...I will post some better pix of it then ...

    ....the MOPAR hobby has been an important part of my life for a long time and apparently will be for a long while in the future...as a kid, I was racing the streets during the muscle car era and remember these cars very well, I was driving GM stuff and getting beat by the Chrysler products....

    I had a 68 GTO that got beat by everything, so I traded for this '69 Chevelle SS 396/375.....it was pretty competitive against the MOPARS, I just couldn't keep all the engine parts on the inside of the block....
