Stripe choice

Thinking of installing a 1972 stripe on my 1970 cuda convertible. I haven't seen one with that stripe and I think it would look ok. I like the hockey stick but I also dare to be different. Here is a link to the stripe I'm talking about.

The V4 stripe was available in white, it would go great with your 'vert.
here are links to a couple of pics;

Thats a pretty good idea too!!
I really hadn't considered that stripe option! Is it available aftermarket??
If memory serves me right, that stripe was only on about 1 percent of the barracuda's in 1970. Low numbers!

They are available aftermarket. I have only seen three cars in person with these stripes, they are unusual.

im not really to big on that stripe, I love the hockey stick stripe like DAYTONA said, but its bold to be different. For me? I would be the follower and go with the white hockey stripe

I like the stripes Barry recommended, maybe in white, even pink. Hockey sticks are cool too.
After seeing too many "correct cars" on this site that '72 stripe would be different but would feel kinda "wrong".
Leave the '72 stripes for your black car (In flat black). Just my 2 cents.

Viva l'differance!
Go with the non stocker look. If only because it will get up the nose of the resto-nazis who think anything not date correct is the work of Satan

Go with what
you
want 4C.
Either way I have thought your Cuda needs something as it tends on the "plain" side. Wheel lip molding's would set it off too and maybe some write writing showing....it looks good now but with some "add-ons" it will look
good.
IMO a nice White hockey stripe would set it off nicely like the one below.
Not "too" in your face and it follows the lines of the car where as the straight decals seem to fight against them.

I'm running a 440 4 barrel. I definitely want to put something on the side of the car to break it up alittle.

The hockey stripe looks best to me, but if you definitely want to do something different, the V4 stripe doesn't look bad. Basically, either one would be a good addition to your car.
