'Cuda Poll: Go-Wing or No Go-Wing?
« on: June 12, 2006 - 09:44:27 AM »

I'm not worried about what's correct, free range with a non-numbers car IMO.  :naughty: :bananasmi

I personally like the look, looks great with the hockey stripe.... :ylsuper:

Cheers,
Carl

I just never cared for the wing on any cars other than the Superbird.

I think the wing looks better on a Challenger, the Cuda's look so good the way they are, the only wing that looks good IMO is the AAR rear spoiler.

Personally, I would never put a go-wing on anything but a '70 model. When they changed to the gull wing in '71, I thought that it was the best wing that I had ever seen. If mopar had continued to offer a wing after '71 it would most definitely have been the gull wing, not the go-wing. However, if you want that '70 look with the hockey stick stripe, then maybe the go-wing would actually look better. Either way, get the wing.

I would go either wing, 70 or 71 in black.  :2cents:

I was not going to put a wing on my 74 but have since changed my mind. I thing the black wing completes the car.

I too love the look of the gull wing, but I may actually put nothing on it. I sometimes think is can look too busy and it takes away from the body lines.

never liked the wings....

go with an AAR spoiler, body color to not distract from the Hockey Stick....subtle, but different...

I have a wing on my 72 Cuda and I think it looks good.  I would say go with the Go Wing for sure, especailly if you like the look!

Personally I don't like a wing on anything but the superbird and daytona . . . true wing cars!  I just think cuda's look better without.  Although I will admit that I have seen 1971 cudas with all the bells and whistles . . louvers, billboards, vinyl tops, rubber bumpers, gills and shaker . . . then I guess it looks ok.   :dunno:

I would leave it off and save yourself some money!

To me cudas look plain and unfinished without a wing or spoiler of some kind.
I've had one on every one of my e-bodies. I think that the wings are one of the reasons that we've won at every car show this year with both cars. Challengers don't look as plain without a wing or spoiler for some reason though, but I installed one on my 70 chal convert anyway.
