Who's gunna cook some rice this week??
« on: June 12, 2006 - 06:39:10 PM »
Well, this Friday is the Tokyo Drift premiere night, so my bud Chris and I have decided to go to the Coliseum multiplex where the ricers hang out, and take the Chally to show 'em up!  Apparently, the movie is getting a lot of grief from the ricers cuz the 'Stang kicks @ss against the Buzzin' Vermin...so it might be fun to coast past the pack, and show 'em what a 5.5K bigblock redline sounds like!  Anybody else have any anti-ricer plans for this weekend?

As my friend Mike says..their eyes are already slanted, do their cars need to be, too? :roflsmiley:

Sounds like fun ,hope you bring back good stories.I never get to see ricers when I am in my car ,I think they hear me coming and avoid me because they're everywhere when I'm in the jeep.Happy cooking  :burnout:

Just bringing my camera to the threatre at the time the movie ends, and record all the ricers trying to drift in the parking lot (and most likely wrecking).

The impending hijinks is rather predictable. At the mall here the kids get all worked up playing racing games in the arcade and then race there parents civics in the parking lot ,rather funny.

They'll see a green fastback, and think it's the same car as the Mustang in the movie.

FAst + Furious #1 -  me and my buddies drove to the theatre in my '73 Roadrunner/GTX 440

Fast + Furious # 2 -  me and buddies drove there in '74 'Cuda 360

Fast + furious # 3 - me and buddies Will drive there in '78 Dodge Super Coupe  360 police interceptor     :woo:

At both the F+F movies so far , the ricers in the crowd gave the movie cars proper respect. And they gave my cars the proper respect and thumbs up .  They're not all as dumb as their cars look !    Funny, I couldn't seem to get a street race leaving the theatre.   :dunno:

The popularity of F&F II, has showed the ricers that ebodies are bad ass cars when they used the orange R/T Challenger in the film. I get thumbs up from ricers everytime I take out the Cuda.

I'll go see just because it's a car movie.

The biggest problem with the F&F movies is the dumb-asses who think they're watching a documentary! Just about every week here in N.Z. they're scraping whats left of some idiot off the road who thought you could actually drive like that in the real world.

:iagree: since I live on a corner maybe it's time for me to put up some barracades before some wannabe ricer drifts across my front lawn and into the side of my house. I already see the sideshow marks on ever intersection.
