Bondo dashboard
« on: June 17, 2006 - 07:42:51 PM »
Started cleaning my dash to fit the new cap on.Turns out it was supposed to have a speaker ,it was just bondo filled.Along with the rest of the dash.It actualy looked like a regular sun destroyed dash ,the guy must have done it before dash caps came along. Here are a few before cutting and after cutting pics.

Apparently some goof in nebraska that owned the car before me.The car has a lot of sillyness I am finding ,looks like he back into something and smashed the rear valance up and just bondo filled that too.I've done some slipshod work in my time but even I wouldn't do that to a dashboard  :screwy:

I ran into a lot of sub-standard or downright weird work done by a previous owner when I was going through my Challenger I   bought in 2004. Makes you wonder what the h#ll they were thinking. I can tell you that there was a lot of :swear:, though!

What a genious.  :dupe:  I guess he figured no speaker at all, was better than looking at cracks. But as you can see, bondo cracks too.  :eek4: I guess it might have been a quick fix to sell the car.  :dunno:
