Finally Picked Up my New Pro Street Challenger!!
« on: June 19, 2006 - 08:28:44 PM »
Well, finally got the car home for the first time!!  She's in need of a paint job but the body is really straight and prety rust free.  Runs really strong and shifts really hard.  I do have to fix the torsion bar cross member - it's got cancer - but the subframe was previously tied together and it's not a big deal.  I've already picked up a T/A Hood for it and plan on going with Pro Street T/A theme.  Can't quite decide if I should make it Curioas Yella or Sublime?  Any thoughts?

oh yeah, that's my 5 year old vacuuming the car out.  He insisted on doing it even though I told him not to worry about it - definitely a future Car Guy in the making

LOL - Actually - he already volunteers to help out around the house!

Well - three sublime votes - maybe I should do a poll...

How do I add a poll to this topic?  Thinking color choices should be Curious Yellow, Sublime, Ice Blue Metallic(B3), or other?

Gary you will have to start a new thread for a poll.  The poll really needs to be made in the beginning as it is a different format than the normal thread.   Sweet looking car for sure!!

Nice find Gary, l would go Sublime. I was thinking since you have to replace the K frame and you have room in the rear. Why don't you make the car a Super Muscle car or G machine, set up for handling, with some big nasty four piston caliper brakes all around, and some 11" wide 19's or 20's in the back and 10" wide 18" up front.
Just seems like that's the "in thing" now from what I saw a SEMA, just my 2 cents.

Nice car!

Personally, I like the sleeper look... but with a pro-street Chally, I guess its kind of hard to be subtle.

Stay street/strip all the way, bling bling 20s will be the disco of hotrodding although handling and stopping is not a bad idea. Get some big brakes, good suspension and an extra set of front meats if you really need to turn.

I went to Gary's shop yesterday and the car sounds awesome.  It has Supertraps that exit like T/A exhaust.  A little paint and this will be a sweet ride.
