My vote is for the bulge hood... but I'm not the one who will be driving the car. Either way, you can't go wrong.

The bulge hood definitely makes it easier to work on the engine ~

I had a 70 440-6 Cuda with the bulge hood. The six pack fit fine. I don't think I'd put one on my 71. Because of the cost and I like the lines of the bulge hood from the outside and when your looking at it from the inside. I remember the few cars I had with factory shakers and they were more of a hassle to pull everything off to adjust the carbs. If I ran a shaker these days, I'd just run a single carb or fuel injection... The shaker hides much of the carbs anyway! Now, if you drop a Hemi in it....SHAKER  :22yikes:

I couldn't wait until I bought my shaker setup for my 71 cuda. I love seeing that shaker bubble shake and move around when I get on it. Of course I only had to pay $4100 for mine which made the decision a little easier. There's nothing wrong with a cuda hood though. My wife still doesn't understand why I changed hoods.

I've never heard that one before?  ???  :grinyes:  :smokin:

Ford Australia is absolutely nothing like Ford America.
IMO Aussie Fords have it easily over the big brother. Bar the Old Mustangs.

All three hoods are cool in there way. I allways loved AAR hood. But now that I got a 'cuda, I found out that I love the Bulge hood just as well.

I`m doing a modified AAR hood for my 72 very close to this one-

I would not spend the money on a Shaker setup for a 72-74 as it looks somewhat out of place. The bulge hood may not shake but still looks cool from the drivers seat!

Bulge VS Shaker? On green I'd say bulge. Maybe do a v21 blackout on the hood.

The painted AAR hood on the car pictured above looks hot though.
