Pro Street T/A Challenger Color Poll
« on: June 20, 2006 - 11:38:28 AM »
Okay, so I am waffling here aout what color to paint my new Pro Street Challenger.  I've already bought a T/A Hood for it and plan on making it a T/A Pro-Street.  I initially was thinking Citron Yella(AKA Curious Yellow) but then started contemplating Sublime.  Now after more thought, I am thinking I see way too many Sublime cars (almost as many of those as Plum Crazy it seems).  A buddy of mine had a B3 T/A a few years back and I thought it looked awesome - the combination of the Light Blue Metallic and the Black stripes really made it look too cool for words.

Thanks for looking at my poll

I'm still voting for Sublime.  Maybe because I just don't see many down here, but when I do, it really catches your eye!

I'm voting the ice-blue. I have a die cast challenger in a silvery blue color with black R/T stripes.  It looks bad a$$.
Sublime, plum crazy are the popular most recognized colors.  I wanted to repaint my Chally Plum Crazy but then thought about it and said everyone wants to repaint Plum or Lime so I'll stick with orange.

In case of a tie you can always do the eany, meany, miney, moe thing.  How every that goes?

BTW, nice car!  If it were to be a sleeper, then I'd paint it that metallic brown (bronze poly k-6 or aztec gold poly L-6?)with white stripes and interior.

I love these 2 colors on the T/A's. I don't see how you could go wrong with an all black one myself.

Just out of curiosity, how come the T/A's didn't have the black out treatment on the fenders doors like the AAR's?

Although mine is not, I have always thought that there were never enough Pink Panther E-bodies.

Since you do not have an original car that leaves many other color possibilities.  Maybe check out some custom colors at the local paint store.

You know, an F8 Green T/A would be a real sleeper...

But sublime would be good for pro-street.

I voted Blue. I saw a 71 Chally last year with blue with black stripes and I couldn't believe how sweet it looked.  :droolingbounce:  Sublime would be my second choice, but only if you are putting black stripes on that too.

MEK - I agree, the T/A my buddy had was drop dead beautiful!  It surprised both of us when he painted it.  When he got it it had suffered from years of neglect and the paint looked horrible.  Since it was a T/A he decided it had to go back to the original color (even though he does not like Blue as a rule).  He was realy glad he did it.  Plus, as far as my car goes, when was the last time you saw one done that way? How many sublime or plum crazy ones have you seen?

I like that color too   Just I think a Pro Street does need something a little flashier...  I thought about maybe a more Modern Mopar color but could not envision one on the car

Perhaps a copper or bronze.  I'm talking polished copper pipe copper.
However my first choice is still ice-blue and I see that it is winning in the poll.

Hay Gary, I just traded my Ram 1500 for a Magnum SRT. You said you would like a modern Mopar color. The color on my SRT is a metalic black, it is awesome when the sun hits it. Check it out at a dealer.
