pistol grip ?

was the factory pistol grip handle make out of wood? i have two and they have wood handles, but i saw others that had plastic handles. just wondering ;D

The factory had plastic handles but I`ve seen a few wood ones made for them too

Just so it's clear, NO, the factory never used anything but plastic grips. But many guys noticed that they were junk and made nicer wood grips to replace them with :) See my website

Scott?  that you?  you are badhemi?  was just about to chime in here and say im awaiting my custom pistol grip from you guys and im very excited about.  from what i can tell they are fabulous pieces that im sure ill highly recommend once mine arrives.

I need some advice on removing the plastic piece that holds the oval gear indicator and is just above the pistol grip. the chroming on mine has worn off from use. If I can get it off it can be rechromed.
From my figuring the gear indicator has to come out. How do I get it out without destroying it?
Any suggestions?
