New Slap-Stik Pistol Grips
« on: June 21, 2006 - 07:38:34 PM »

Check out this grips, I have sent an email. To engage you push down on the handle.

These look really awesome, the handle in the F-Body console (to the right) looks a little cheap though.
I've also asked if they have a mount for a button for line lock, Gear Vendors etc.....

Doesnt look much like a real one if you ask me.  I love my harms shifter. Looks and feels awesome. I think Scott mentioned he was looking into getting a button in the top designed.

True, I like mine too but the HARMS looks less like a real one than the Duncan sports one.

They do take buttons too. I emailed Scott from HARMS several times a few PMs about the button....
No reply. If I knew how far away they were I'd wait but if someone else makes them I'll do business there.

I wish they had a picture of it on an E-Body console. I'm just concerned with how far up the handle sits. If the shaft is too long, it might not look right.  :dunno:

That looks pretty cool!  I'd wait for some feedback on how people like them in their E-bodies, so for now I'm still thinking Harm's for mine when I do get that far.

True, I does look high but I think they've done their homework. If you look at the B-Body console photo that seems high, the F-Body is smaller and I'm sure the E-Body is smaller again. I will let you guys know.

I'm just finding out if the button on tops wire is hidden, he said it goes through the handle and down the front of the shaft.....so I asked him if the wire is visible to which I will sound find out.

I like the height of these, be cool to grab and run with the GV.  :bananasmi

I'm guessing the wire will be mounted on the front of the shaft with chrome tape like the hurst line lock button handles used to be, or some type of clip that goes around the handle. I don't see how they'd get a wire though that thin shaft.
