Factory Rallye Wheel Offset

What is the offset on the 1970 15"x7" factory rallye wheels; 4¼"?

I think it's 4". Everybody measures from a different point. Inside lip, outside lip, etc.  The Repro rallyes that I bought are 15x7-4" backspace and 15x8s have a 4.5" backspace.

My repro Rallye's are 15x8" rear with a 4-1/2" BS and the fronts are 15x7" with a 4-1/4" BS.

What width they getting on rims like that? 275, 295?

The "experts" don't tell you that you get a crap ride.  :roflsmiley: :eek4: More bumps than a Camel jocky..... :smokin:

I have 285 40 17s on my mustang... Its on 17 x 10.5s in the back.    I know on a 10. 5 you can go from 275 to a stretched 335s.  315s look great.
I'm sure this isn't going to fit under an e body tho... sad really
