E Body K-frame

I thought I knew this, but... are K-frames from B-bodies interchangeable with 70-74 E-bodies??

Yes they are.  I have interchanged E's with 67- 72 B's with no problem.  Other years may be able to be used.

Thanks for the reply.  I should have stated in the first post that this about a hemi K-frame for a '70 Cuda.  I believe they are unique; or are there any other hemi K-frames from other bodies that will work in a '70 E-body, such as a B-body Hemi K-frame??  Here's why I'm trying to verify this:

Are you interested in buying this package?  As I understand it you have 3 groups of k-frames.  6 cyl. V-8 and Hemi.  Unless I needed something numbers (year) matching I would buy a crate Hemi from Mopar.  At least it has some type of guarentee.

 I'm guessing it's the fact that it's a 71 motor that has him interested. Otherwise, the past on this motor is kinda shaky I think.

What about the K-frame?  The hemi K-frame in this auction came out of a '70 GTX.  Will that bolt up into a '70 Cuda and will the motor mounts be in the correct position?  I agree, the motor itself sounds fishy...

I thought so But I advised a member that it would work & a month or so later he said I was wrong , something in the steering box angle was dfifferent between A 70 B & E body K FRAME

I know its a little late but for future reference '71 and '72 B body are the same as E body..........

That's correct the early (up to 71-72 I think) "B" K member steering box mount is at a different angle, some have used them but the angle is definitely different...

What size socket do I need for the K frame bolts?

Chryco Psycho is correct.  While a B-Body K-Frame will bolt up to an E-Body, the steering box angle is different due to the length from the drivers seat to the front wheels; basically a triangulation issue.
