1970 Challenger from a demolition derby circa 1983-84. He took fourth place, he signed in as "Kowalski".

That sucks.

Where do you get all those pics? (do people send thewm to you or did you mess up those cars?)

If you think about it, in a way, guys like that make/made our own cars more valuable and desirable to own today.
When you say that you assume two things

A) That ebody owners only own them because their desireable and/or valuable (and not for senetemental reasons, or that they like the looks and power)

B) That all ebody owners are willing to see one destroyed just to make theirs more valuable.

Well it goes to say that the Dodge/Plymoth E-bodies have got to be the most 'misunderstood' muscle cars out there. They didn't sell that well in their day, so people used them to slap around, abuse and generally disregard them for doom.... well they have awakened and those that have survived shine even brighter than other muscle cars out there, more so because they are an unique breed, not mass produced relatively speaking to Ford and GM, so the fact that rust and dumbasses have devoured the majority of the E-body population, we have the pleasure of having something distinct on the road today that no one, even a $1 million Porsche or Mercedes SLR can bring out of the crowd.

Great pictures, well sort of. It's hard today to understand why we did what we did yesterday.

I too have done the same! The year after I went into the service, my dad crushed and hauled off a 71 Challenger 6 cylinder with a 3 speed.....but first he crushed it with his skidder. loaded it on his truck and hauled it away....didn't take the seats out, dash out, NOTHING! The car itself was rotted so badly, it wasnt funny! But he told me about it after the fact! Oh well....not much to do about it now!

If it makes you guys and gals feel any better, back in the mid 80's, I took a 69 Camaro RS through the demo's just to prove a point to the chevy lovers. Yes, I did what they did to the mopars... broke, mangled, and destroyed every piece prepping the car up for its demise. I feel somewhat bad about it now, but I was Young, dumb, and full of... attitude!
Cant kill the mean and ugly. Only the good die young...I plan to be here a while!!
