    Any plans for it cosmetically?  Paint?  Rims?  Rallye Hood?  Or leave it as is?  Is that the original color?

    I like the idea of the bone stock appearance to include the white pin-stripe as something out of the ordinary. Seems that everyone who gets a Challenger wants an R/T or a T/A clone.

    Maybe keep it bone stock looking with a 440+6 under the hood?  Ultimate sleeper!

    The 440 Raised Block Engines are very tight under the flat-hood. Altough it works as I had a flat-hood on my 440 - the air-cleaner wing-nut put a nice dimple in the hood. Finding an aftermarket air-cleaner that was short enough to give the clearance needed was difficult.

    I'm with you guys on the sleeper mode. several ideas have crossed my mind... cop car rims and a 440 out of the 68 new yorker aside of it. This is an original red car. I've even crossed thoughts on stobe stripes and a performance hood. Paint the body in hemi or vitamin c orange. At any rate (don't tell an ins agent at any rate), I have to own a car that looks different than any other. So plane jane steet killer my be the winner.

    If you decide to stay w/ the flat-hood RB option may I suggest solid motor-mounts as even low-profile air-cleaners will likely be rubbing the underside of the hood. Using solid motor-mounts reduces air-cleaner to hood wear. The down-side on solid motor mounts: minor eng. vibrations will be felt throughout the unibody.

     :working: It's alive!! Replaced control box. Replaced plugs, wires, cap and button. Changed oil and filter. Added fresh fuel and an aditive for stale gas. It started right up. Only snag was a cracked upper bowl on the radiator. Luckily I had a good rad on hand. Now that it's running found a bad brake line hose on the pass side. Had to order a pair so....tomorrow is another day. I can't wait for a drive, even if it will be down to the end of the road and back (appx 1 mile).
