I'll chime in with Barry here, when the Charger and Chally were done I told the body shop to leave the wheel moldings off, in fact the holes for the side trim on the chally were also welded shut, I like the "plane Jane" look, besides to those of you who have never seen the Chally out in the sun,................that fine blue pearl really makes the body lines pop out, no shiny trim necessary. I'm not suggesting this is the way all should be done, just my personal preferance, also you don't have the eventual risk of rust starting behind them because of moisture collection.
