Yes it was very cool for sure. The one thing I figured out pretty quickly. No matter how much power a car has, more is always better! None of those cars were slow, but the lower end of the spectrum was the stroked wedge 1970 Challenger, it felt absalutely tame by comparisons to the blown Duster. Now I have to re-think my entire game plan on my restorations, a blown Hemi just might be in the works now, the power is simply unreal!

Way cool. Can't wait for part two.

Sounds like a great experience. I would love to partake in this power tour someday. Just to see the wide variety of cars entered ---not just mopars-- would be something else.

Man Scott, that ride in the Roots-blown Hemi-powered Duster...just like what i imagine Old school's 'cuda must be like.

must... have... part two...

that article was absolutely insane.  one of my major goals with my cuda is to get it good enough to take on the power tour.  driving any one of the cars you got to drive would be... magically delicious, for lack of a better term.  seems like a whole lot of red cars, though.  that article seriously makes me wanna  :burnout:

The trouble was condensing an entire  week of non stop adventures into a "short" article, believe me, there was allot more to tell, and not much of it was exactly "legal" part II will be worth the wait!

Not legal? Egads! Did you go over 56 miles an hour?  :22yikes:

Hit us with a longer version of Part I if needed, we can take it.

I hope.  :dunno:
