multiple questions (post includes pictures)
« on: June 27, 2006 - 07:42:10 PM »
the car's been blasted as i posted before, so now it's time to replace some sheetmetal.  the rear floorpans need replacing, as well as the trunkpan and the wheelhouses.  the tail panel has a bit of rust, and i think it's going to be kindof a pain in the butt to fix.  i'm kinda afraid of putting crappy metal in my car, so i'm wondering where you all would suggest buying my stuff.

also, i've never seen the supports from the firewall to the enginebay on anyone else's car.  i'm wondering if mine are bent weird or something.  please check out the pictures.

They look pretty much the same as mine:

The project looks like it's got a pretty solid foundation to build from. Any surprises after the blasting?

As for body panels - I think most others have gone with Shermans (or Cross-Canada if you're above the border like me). If you can find a good parts car that's what I went with.
