i need some advice

can i put a fiberglass shaker hood for a cuda on any year cuda (without alot of extra work) i mean i wouldnt mind like adjusting the size or something but i already have my eye on a nice 1973 cuda and i know putting a shaker on it wouldnt be original :22yikes: :22yikes: but i want a shaker hood  on it and then ill repaint to its orignaly paint black on black and replace the 340 to a 383 from eldebrock (spelling)


any advice is apreciated

1970-1973 cuda or challenger (anything i can get my hands on)
with any engine at a decent repairable state and aforrdable(to a young kid you is working very hard day and night and put all his money to his car)

The answer is YES!  All of the cuda hoods are interchangable.  Shouldn't be too much of a problem.   :thumbsup:

  The hoods for 70-74 will interchange.  I'm not so sure about hood springs. If you keep your originals, then fine. I may be off base, but I think I remember something about hood springs from earlier E-Bodies being different?  :dunno: Maybe someone can correct me there.

Definitely doable but be prepared to spend some serious cash to do the swap.  :money:

 I guess the $$$ to do this quickly caught your attention NZ?  :lol:  Yep, a bit deeeep for me too.  :grinyes: To each their own, but the Rally or raised hood is what I would go with. Just my 2 cents.  :2cents:

thanks all this clears my mind about this problem and now i see a better fish in that bi8g sea we call the auto world....... thanks  :wavingflag: :wavingflag:  :working:
