This might get me banned from the board, but growing up in the Dukes of Hazzard era, I would have to go with a 69 or 70 Charger. In my junior year of High School, I had a shot at a 68 Charger for $2500. I passed. It looked good, but you could tell it was beaten(318 98K miles). I just wonder what would have happened if I bit?  :dunno:

I guess I will throw this one out there also.  (Yep--I voted for the Runner)

I would get a '68 Hemi RoadRunner    Triple Black, bucket seats.
4-speed, dana 60.

I had a #'s matching '68 hemi Runner for a while.  Automatic on the column, bench seat. Talk about a sleeper.

I still love those old Hemi Birds.  I might have another one some day..   Hhmmmmmm..........

I voted Cuda prefer a 440-4 spead 70 or 71 Cant' go wrong with triple black but that burnt orange turns my head too. , but I really have a passion for the 67-69 A-body fastback Barracudas. My personal favorite best looking car.

Bright White 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, 440ci Magnum, Heavy-Duty TorqueFlite-727, 8-3/4" Suregrip.  :bigshades:

We don't have to go back in time for any of these as they're available today.
Though the prices are 10+ times as much if you have the money you can still get/make what you want.

If I knew then what I know now, I would buy a bunch of Hemi Cuda convertibles and Hemi Superbirds. lol
But if I could have bought any car back when I was in High school, I probably would have gotten a brand new '69 Super Bee.

I'll put my twist on this...the car i could have bought but could not afford ....Superbird, hemi 4 speed, B-5 car...I still can see that car....oh well...just didn't have the $$ in 1978 to buy it. The asking $$?  $2500.00...might as well have been $250,000 as far as I was concerned....LOL

triple black T/A convertible....4spd

Now I'm curious.

Did Dodge make any of these T/A convertibles, Daytona?  If anyone would know you would!

I did see this on some sort insurance list on the Canadian Legal Institute:

      DODGE                      CHALLENGER T/A        2 Door              8   Gas   2
